Debate Thread Deleted?

Post by Delphi »

I commented on a thread called "The Universe Is My Creator" today. Now, it seems that the entire thread has disappeared. Deleted. Gone.

What's up?

Is this site censoring?

The OP was judged to be flamebait, which is against the rules. If something is against the rules, particularly if it's an OP, it can be deleted.

Is there a definition of 'flamebait'? I don't know what this means or how it is defined.

The forum thread that was deleted seemed rather benign to me. I don't want to be involved in a forum that arbitrarily censors its adherents.

Flame bait is a judgement call on the moderators. The moderators will not censure based on peoples' positions. But can censure if they are not following the rules and guidelines.

If you stick around for awhile, you'll find that we attempt to judge fairly and evenly. However, if people violate the rules, we will crack down on them.
