The seduction of the Christian mind.

In my view, the most deceptive thing to happen to Christianity is the elevation of their " Pride." 1 Tim. 3:6. When a group gets lifted up and grows powerful and influential , as Christianity has , when they have been made a church of God, as Christianity was before it even became Christianity ,

those two things just within themselves ; the calling of God and the power of influence and reputation , can get inside the whole consciousness of a people and create a very powerful seduction of pride that none of them can even be aware of.

That seduction then can lead to incredible deceptions being implanted within the religion ; within the mind ; within the whole head

the whole consciousness.

And I want to take a close look , a close biblical look , at the seduction of the Christian mind. And it is a most incredible dynamic , this thing called seduction ; how we can be deceived , and not even " Know it!" Remember , a deceived person , does not know they are deceived.

It was said by Karl Marx that religion is the Opiate of the people. And in my view , Christianity has over dosed. They have just gone all into themselves.
Christian leaders like Gary Bauer still standing with Trump after last Friday have forfeited their right to tell anyone how to live a godly life. They traded Christ for the world. They are the reason people have stopped believing in their god.
Thank you for playing Debating Christianity & Religion!

mickiel wrote: The Way, or the original church , Acts 9:2, 24:22, morphed into Christianity ; which then morphed into the Roman Catholic Church , and then all other branches of Christianity morphed from that. Modern day Christians in America don't like the truth of that history. But it is so. The Christian church has been through many historical changes. And it has absorbed many pagan rituals and influences into its belief system , something it is presently blind too. That complete blindness to this history is part of this mass seduction.

And it is a most unique and well done seduction; the finest deception that I have ever known.

The seduction of the Christian mind has been historic, but mainly because Christianity cannot truly see what God really has used them for. Their minds are not conditioned for , or even ready for that truth. God has used them ,similar to how he used Adam and Eve ; for a purpose they would not like in this life. More on that later.

Ephesus was the church at the end of the Apostolic age , around 70 to 100 years after Jesus left earth. Close after the death of Paul. In Rev. 2:4 Jesus is speaking about them , and any modern day church that is similar to them , he said he had something "Against them"; they had lost their first love. Or lost a zeal they used to have in the early days. The church was being systematically broke down into stages of deception ; this was only the beginnings of that.

The beginning of the seduction of the Christian mind.

Now fast forward 316 years after Jesus died, the church of God now is in a much worse state of being ,this state is symbolized by the church in Pergamos, or any modern day church similar to it ; Christianity is now steeped in paganism and ritual; Rev. 2: 13, satan now has "A seat in the church of God", meaning the devil is all involved in the membership and doctrines . You cannot forget or ignore that Jesus is describing HIS churches here in Revelations ; now, Rev. 2:15 Jesus teaches HIS church has doctrines he HATES! This is still Christianity , still the church birthed in Acts ,still one of the church stages of God.

And still being deceived and seduced.

Jesus himself saying they held to doctrines he hated! Just 316 years after Christ died , and his church is doing things he is against and holding to doctrines he hates.

The seduction of the Christian mind is slowly being cemented.

Now fast forward 500-1500 years AD, or after the death of Christ ; Jesus in Rev. 2:20 still describing the state of HIS church ; he STILL has things against them ; they STILL are suffering from bad teaching, ( or the teachings of their leaders , their pastors , bishops and self proclaimed prophets; this is what the "Doctrine of the Nicolaitans" means , and the teachings of the woman Jezebel; deceived leaders deceiving the members of the church ), right here in the book of Revelations.

An historical track record of the seduction of the Christian mind.

During the seventh Crusade Sammael Morningstar came to Yeshua in heaven and handed him a sheaf of parchment. He said, “This is a papal bull titled Ad Extirpanda from Pope Innocent IV. Note in particular Law 25, where he authorizes the use of torture against heretics.

“The head of state or ruler must force all the heretics whom he has in custody, provided he does so without killing them or breaking their arms or legs, as actual robbers and murderers of souls and thieves of the sacraments of God and Christian faith, to confess their errors and accuse other heretics whom they know, and specify their motives, and those whom they have seduced, and those who have lodged them and defended them, as thieves and robbers of material goods are made to accuse their accomplices and confess the crimes they have committed.

Morningstar said, “I can assure you, Son of God, having made something of a study of this, there are things that can be done to human beings short of killing them or breaking their limbs that make even the agony you endured in Judea pale in comparison. Twelve hundred years and this is what has become of your ‘Banquet of God’. So I think I can say, without contradiction, that I have won.

Now ,fast forward over 2,000 years after Christ death and you have Jesus still describing the condition of HIS church, but this stage of God's church is its final stage of apostasy in Rev. 3: 17-18,and notice the arcane resemblance this stage of the church has to a Christian prosperity ministry ; " Because you say you are rich ,and increased with goods , and have need of nothing , and KNOWEST NOT that you are wretched , miserable ,poor , naked and BLIND!"

This is Jesus description of the final stage of HIS church! Called the Laodicean era. Notice that Jesus said they "Knowest Not" that they are Blind! In other words , they don't know they are deceived! Its the seduction of the Christian mind!

This is not my view or my teaching , this is Jesus teaching! And Christians are totally blind to it.

I don't think Christianity has a monopoly on brutality. In recent times another religious group sent us pictures of a Jordanian pilot being burned alive, for the greater glory of God.

Religion, it would seem, needs its savagery.
