Was anyone here morally wrong in their actions?

I can understand Tiger woods reaction. I hate porn to begin with and if anyone publically claimed that my wife/ daughter or any other woman important to me was involved with making Porn, I would react the same. I was wondering about how others think on this subject.

Was the tabloid wrong for posting this?

Why or why not?

What does this say about Porn/tabloids in general?

Does anyone else think that the reaction of the tabloids to Tigers reaction reminded them of a 3rd grade bully saying "But I was only joking."?
It is a first class human tragedy that people of the earth who claim to believe in the message of Jesus, whom they describe as the Prince of Peace, show little of that belief in actual practice.

Yes, the actions of the tabloid were in incredibly poor taste at best and possibly actionable in a court of law. I think Tiger handled the matter with class which is more than can be said for the tabloid.

Most anything a tabloid writes can automatically be considered false. I thought everyone knew this. Except Tiger, apparently.

If he has enough time to get upset about something this stupid, he clearly is not spending enough time on his game.

So because someone is obviously a known liar, his actions are ok?

Let me get this straight. Some tabloid doctors photos to appear to be porn pictures of your wife and publishes them for all the world to see and you're not going to be upset? Your not going to come to your wife's defense? Your going to let them publish whatever they want without response or denial?

If it's the same sort of publication that considers "bat boy" reputable news?

Then no.

It would be easier if the tabloids really were always wrong. Unfortunately, they're right just often enough to lend themselves a tiny bit of credibility in some of our minds. I remember when the scandals involving the then Prince and Princess of Wales, (Charles and Diana) first boke. The tabloids would have the story one day and then, The Times and Newsweek would have the same, word for word, story a few days later. I think lawsuits are the celebrities only defense. Poor Mrs. Woods. :(

I agree it was poor taste, but I find it amusing that when the tabloids report good things about celebs, it is considered great publicity, but bad things and it more like "LAWSUIT". I am not claiming what was written was true. But say the tabloids posted that Tiger Woods donated a million dollars to the underprivilidged, though it wasn't true. Do you think he would be pitching a fit then? Now going for his wife was a low blow and I won't condone it. I just have to see the shoe on the other foot as well.
What we do for ourselves dies with us,
What we do for others and the world remains
and is immortal.
