Paul's non-sequitors

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
1 Corinthians 15.17
.... for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!
Galatians 2.21

For each of these verses, how does that follow?

Are the assumptions Paul makes in each verse unquestionably true?

Or can they, should they be questioned?
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

OK, let me put it this way:

-is someone who repents and turns to God somehow "still in their sins" if Christ is not raised? How so?

If THAT is true, wasn't all the OT teaching about repentance, the Commandments and loving God, "in vain"?

-why would Christ's martydom be "in vain" if one could be saved by the "works of the law?

Didn't Christ himself say he came to "bear witness to the truth" and in do doing, was executed for his troubles?

Is the death of any martyr, anyone who dies for a good cause, truly "in vain" even if their death is NOT "an atonement"?
