-The teaching to pray in Jesus name only appears in the Gospel of John.
-The story of the Virgin Birth of Jesus only appears in Matthew and Luke.
-The post resurrection appearances do not appear in Mark.
-The claim that Jesus is the only way to the Father only appears in John.
-The allusion to Jesus pre-existence only appears in John.
-The Lord's prayer only appears in Matthew and Luke.
-Jesus's sermons (on the mount, on the plain) only appear in Matthew and Luke.
-Most of the parables do not appear in John.
For debate...are the underlined subjects important doctrines, tenants or features of Christianity?
How important are they?
If very important, why is each not repeated in all four Gospels?
Important doctrines.

Important doctrines.
Post #1 My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Post #21. Why should they be?Elijah John wrote:If very important, why is each not repeated in all four Gospels?
2. HE has men involved in HIS work throughout the whole story...as expressed in 1 Corinthians 12:7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. with Romans 12:6-8 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given … etc.
PCE Theology as I see it...
We had an existence with a free will in Sheol before the creation of the physical universe. Here we chose to be able to become holy or to be eternally evil in YHWH's sight. Then the physical universe was created and all sinners were sent to earth.
This theology debunks the need to base Christianity upon the blasphemy of creating us in Adam's sin.

Post #31) Multiple attestation, repeated reports from multiple sources are more likely to be true. Also, if it was important for John's audience to know "ye must be born again", why wouldn't it be important for Matthew's audience? Or Mark's? Or Luke's?ttruscott wrote:1. Likewise, if it is so important to believe that "no one comes to the Father but by me" (Jesus) why wouldn't that be important for Matthew's audience? Or Mark's or Luke's?
If it is so important to pray "in Jesus name", why did Jesus only teach us to hallow the Father's name, when teaching the Lord's prayer, in Matthew and Luke...why didn't he teach the disciples to add "in Jesus name we pray"?
If John's Jesus identifies himself as the "Great I AM", why wouldn't that be important for Mathew and his audience to know that as well? Or Mark's, Or Luke's?
Shouldn't such a bold claim have been noticed by the others? That is, if indeed Jesus actually made that claim, and it was not merely put on his lips by the Evangelist John.
How could such a revolutionary claim have escaped notice of the pen of Matthew, Mark and Luke?
And so on.
2) What do any of those references have to do with the OP?
