I see no reason to believe you didn't eat pizza today. I'm willing to accept that you did as you don't seem to be prone to lying and making up crazy stories. However if you told me that I had to believe you or face death, I would suddenly become very dubious about your claim. I would be thinking why is he threatening me? Is it possible that his claim of eating pizza is actually a lie? Why is it so important that I believe this? Does he have ulterior motives? What are they? Is this some kind of a con job?

As for you saying you saw Elvis. Well I guess if Elvis is actually still alive, that might be possible, however I would be a gullible twit to believe it. I would require some pretty hard evidence. It may be that you genuinely believe you saw Elvis so in your mind you're telling the truth and not lying. I would be inclined to challenge the accuracy of your claim and think that maybe you were mistaken, deluded or suffered some kind of hallucination... or maybe it was just a dream. A lot of people think their dreams are real. Just look at the bible.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

Well Elvis is the risen King. So this is a supernatural claim.

Then again it might have been Elvis Johnson that he saw.

I gonna go with #2. Obviously you have an elder relative or grandfather named Elvis.

#1 is clearly false as you have a penchant for eating unicorns, not pizza.

Do I win a prize? :)

What if the pizza had unicorn blood sauce and unicorn brain sausage?

I'm with Tigger, it would depend.

Elvis who?

If "Elivis' Presley the famous rock singer, then when was this written? if the statement "I saw Elvis [Presley] yesterday"was written by a maid in Graceland in 1961 there is a good possibility it is true.

If it was written by Joe Blogs in Athen Greece in 2017 (Joe Blogonipolus) then I would need to seek additional information.

I am with JW on this; I think your statements should be:

1. George Alexander Louis ate pizza today.

2. Elvis saw Odin bring a whale back from the dead, today.

Though I wounder if 2. should be, Clark Kent saw Odin bring a whale back from the dead, 2000 years ago. If that is the intent of the OP.
