If the government were to tell you, that you had to take some kind of micro or nano chip and have it implanted in the back of your hand or on your forehead, would you be willing to take it without duress?
What if they threatened to kill you if you didn't?
Would you have a chip on your shoulder?

Post #1Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.
Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.
There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

If you dig around there are already announcements about technology that can read brain waves.
I'd say no to a chip but suspect the idea of a chip implant is going to be one of those futuristic ideas that never gets anywhere because technology has progressed so rapidly there is no need for it. The invasion of person and ultimate surveillance and a threat to liberty cannot be resisted if there are technologies that do not need our permission.
Resistance is futile.🤖
There are also fears being aired of behaviour modification through microwaves and technologies like 5G. But perhaps for the moment these kinds of rumours belong to the blogosphere and conspiracy theory. But then even a few years ago the thought of brain reader technology was science fiction.
As has been widely reported The US Military Is Responsible For Almost All The Technology In Your iPhone. I suspect it will be a similar story regarding brain reading technologies once commercialised.

A great post overall, but I have to highlight this here. You are so right. The whole microchipping thing is actually very old technology now and more likely on its way out than in, especially with new technology coming up now that is probably way superior.Furrowed Brow wrote:
