WHERE does sand come from? There are many sources. But the one described in this article might surprise you. It is a fish that grinds coral into fine sand—the parrot fish!

Since I feel I'm in a safe place to "ramble" I would add that I am moved by the beautiful colours in the fish.

I always find the rainbows particulary peaceful and that fish is fittingly named.
