Grass is green. Green is one of my favorite colours.

I thought it was only kids that had favourite colours.

I love colors. My sister bought me a 12-color acrylic paint set with the following colors:

White
Medium Yellow
Yellow Ocker
Scarlet
Brilliant Red
Violet
Ultramarine Blue
Medium Green
Dark Green
Light Brown
Brown
Black

She also bought me a mixing pallet knowing full well that I would be wanting to make up some of my own colors by mixing these colors together.

Color is beautiful from the infra red to the ultra violet.

Not all grass is green. Purple Kush is, well... purplish, thus the name. Purple is one of my favorite flavours of Kush.

Oh, and in case you've never tried it, Kush (no matter what colour) makes all other colours better.

and makes cuisine
for horses, goats, and rams
but Kush is like a violet
reserved for peaceful lambs

When God created prairies
with flowers, trees and grass
She also added wacky weed
just for a touch of class

And when the ruminants ate it
they would soar for all they're worth
but lacking flight
they couldn't fight
the gravity of earth

So jumping ever higher
they exhausted all their power
and finally had to lay down
on a mattress made of flower

They slept away the evening
and snoozed throughout the night
and when the morning sun arose
they had another day of flight

Never really leaving earth
but dreaming dreams on high
all because the violet kush
beckons them to fly

Mixie Color Letter by Letter

Playing with the colors
with every letter written
is bound to be a hobby
of someone color smitten

With BB Code that's quite complex
but done by a computer
makes the art of wordy color
like riding on a scooter

Push a foot
along the ground
to gain a bit of speed

Write a poem
letter bound
with characters that bleed

Bleeding blood of color
all across the page
to drive the reader's eyes
into a fit of rage

The human brain must process
each color of the verse
until the brainy owner's voice
begins to scream and curse

It artwork of the devil
like kindergarten paints
randomized across the page
until the reader faints.

A poem word for word
and colors follow suit
it's kindergarten color
that slightly more astute

Something we can read
with brains that won't complain
cause reading wordy color
doesn't constitute a drain

But writing verse that fully rhymes
is extracting quite a toll
a tariff I cannot afford
as it's draining out my soul

So linguistic art must finally rest
as I have work to do
