Red Pill Liberals

Post by bluethread »

It appears that when liberals, like Cassie Jaye and Sarah Silverman, are starting to reject the leftist lockstep rejection of conservatives, once they actually sit down and talk to them. Is this a trend and do you think it is good?

Not sure what exactly you are referring to but sitting down and talking with conservatives does not imply compromising the liberal position. I and talking with conservatives and still rejecting them.

It really is just a matter of chasing after the power.

Many if not most people do not have any real principles or standards as they just jump onto whatever bandwagon has the most power.

The conservative Republicans won and so the snakes and the slime follow after the power.

If Hillary had won (as they expected) then they would not be shifting their allegiance.

If we look at history then Adolf Hitler did not invent the anti Judaism - Hitler just jumped onto that bandwagon to gain power, as did so many others.

In the USA when the African American movement for civil rights used Christianity and Islam for their power base then white people jumped onto the non religion of Atheism as the new white power base.

The masses of humanity behave like sheep and they do as the dogs bark, and people want a strong leader regardless of the morality or immorality of it.

We all learn this as babes and as children - that when our parents insist upon anything then we see the power and we follow the power like sheep to the slaughter.

The scriptures and the Bible tells us to break that control and to follow the rightful principles and standards, but it is hard to convince a sheep mentality to stop acting like a sheep.

Actually, I think people are rather more complex than that. Doubtless the prevailing zeitgeist has an impact, but I do not think it a determining issue. Rather, I sense tendency towards a multidimensional and graduated approach to identity; we are no longer either fascist or communist, either male or female, either black or white, either Christian or pagan. Political, gender, racial and religious fluidities seem to me to have conceptual purchase because they reflect reality as it is, rather than a simplistic dualist impression of reality as some might prefer it to be.

Perhaps when we have sorted this social identity agenda out, then we will be in a position to sort morality out. Meanwhile, I far prefer to be an independent, self-reliant, autonomous goat than a bullied, brow-beaten, intimidated sheep.

Best wishes, 2RM.

So white people became atheists?... because African Americans "used" Christianity and Islam for their power base? Where do you get this garbage?

JP has been claiming this for some time now, but refuses to substantiate it when challenged.

Who are you talking about, exactly? Casie Jaye's The Red Pill documentary for example was released in 2016 before the election.
