Perhaps Jesus is the only human being who's not a hybridization? The story of Genesis six and the flood (and its immediate aftermath) imply that everyone born through genital sex is to some degree a hybridization carried over from the nephilim (fallen ones).

Jesus' virgin birth affords him a mechanism to "sprout" from the unsullied root of humanity in a manner that makes him the only human being in the likeness of Adam prior to Genesis 2:21 where Adam's body is desecrated in preparation for the original sin.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

God flooded the world because it was full of violence; we are not told it was due solely to inbreeding.

As far as the discrepancy between what may have been copulation between angels and men, on the one hand, and the Spirit of God and Mary, on the other--the obvious difference is that God ordained the latter and did not the former.
