Interrogation resistance training
Post #1People call water boarding torture and protest it's use against our enemies. However, I have never heard of anyone protesting the use of it and other similar procedures on our own special forces as part of their training. Is it proper to do this?

special forces should be familiar with anything effective, or in use, in their profession.

"Properly" applied "enhanced interrogation techniques" will over time break anyone. I'm not sure that any "interrogation resistance training" will even delay a trained and persistent interrogator. The only effective way to resist is to have a cover story ready when really broken. Then have another story ready if/when the first cover is disbelieved and they come back to re-break you. And throw in whatever believable nonsense you can think of so that if you do finally give away the truth it will be no more believable than the lies. Let them trick falsehoods out of you. Lather, rinse, repeat. And remember that you aren't going to get out alive just because you break.
