Suppose a forum user put another member on ignore. After a few days, they take that member off the ignore list to post a long argument against things they've discussed since, leaving previous discussion points with that individual hanging.
After speaking their piece, they put the member back on the ignore list, immediately after being engaged for a dialogue again.
If this is the kind of attitude I'm to expect on this forum, then debates are utterly meaningless. There is no dialogue, it's entirely up to the person doing the ignoring what topics or questions addressed to them are answered... Which would be fine if they didn't use the forum's ignore system to also launch arguments and then retreat when criticism is raised.
