The David kings were possibly real historical figures ...
The Tel Dan Stele, an inscribed stone erected by a king of Damascus in the late 9th/early 8th centuries BCE to commemorate his victory over two enemy kings, contains the phrase ביתדוד‬, bytdwd, which most scholars translate as "House of David".[71 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David#His ... archeology
But they dribble out of Jewish folklore after the Ezra/Nehemiah tales ...
And don't reappear until the propaganda of the Jewish sect supporting the Jesus character.
The notion that the Jesus character was sired by the Jewish deity Yahweh (or the Holy Ghost) has nothing other than the cult propaganda and the imaginations of believers to support it.
The propaganda DOES - in two contradictory genealogies - however, trace the Jesus character back to the original King David.
What ever happened to the David kings ... and their supporters ... and their heirs ...?

I think you know, as well as any moderately interested antiquarian, that Nebuchadnezzar wiped out the line of David, particularly and especially. That is why he is vilified in Judaic mythology so much, and to this day.
Ol' Nebby proved in one fell stroke that the Judaic god doesn't exist, or is more feeble than Marduk, and they have no hope of a saviour.
That assumes that the referenced DVD is really the DVD of the Bible, and not the real hero of a completely different people.

And the opportunity is left open for all manner of pretenders ...
With conflicting genealogies ...
And claims of divine parentage ...
And suggestible followers.
No one EVER demonstrates that "God" exists outside their parietal cortex.

Sad that good topics, that decimate Judeo-Christianity get so little recognition by theists.
Now talk about sin or any other un-provable, you have a thread that runs on forever...

I don’t think there are any “supporters of David left, at least not in the sense of wanting his line to regain the throne. However, many modern Jews can trace their family line back to King David. It is sort of like the way many Chinese people can trace their family line back to the emperors of the Ming Dynasty. It is common enough that it is not a particularly controversial claim.

They died.
The monarchy was overthrown by the Babylonian Empire in 605 BC. It has never been reestablished.

Check the contradictory genealogies in "The Word of God" ...
They certainly weren't forgotten.
Remember the "prophecies" in "The Word of God".
Remember the David connections in respect to the Jesus character.
No one EVER demonstrates that "God" exists outside their parietal cortex.

They didn’t die out. Their descendants are still alive today. See post 6. The Monarchy was destroyed and, of course, the individual kinds from thousands of years ago died.
What part of this are you not getting? Your posts seem nonsensical. Is there some point you are trying to make?
