The Green Dimension in Politics

Post by 2ndRateMind »

So, capitalists want the freedom to profit by their activities, with as little let or hindrance as possible.

And socialists want to allocate more of those profits to the people that work for capitalists, and actually, through their labour, generate the wealth.

Both allegiances seem somewhat selfish, to me, and because selfish, somewhat sinful.

But the greens? We aren't too much bothered by wealth, we just want social justice, such that no one starves, and the economy sustainable for our children, and theirs, and for many generations hence. Is any alternative position ethical? Is any alternative position Christian?

Ponder as you please.

Best wishes, 2RM.
