I have the honor of teaching an adult Sunday School class. It is a great forum with people who are willing to differ with each other so it is more discussion oriented than lecture.
What topics / authors / books / lessons have you found especially impressive?

There is always the ever popular Purpose Driven books. Our neighborhood just got finished doing the Purpose Driven Life. It was actually the second time that I've attended a 40 day purpose study. And it was even better the second time around.
The PDL book can be considered elementary, but I like how it promotes discussion. It addresses a need that people have (and apparently a big need judging by how long it's been on the NYT Best Seller list) and has some good nuggets in there.
Incidentally, the PDL book made me realize that perhaps one of my purposes in life was to start this very website.
