God's command to commit sin?

Does God ever tell his followers to commit sin? Any examples from the Bible?

I am wondering just why you think that Adam didn't know the difference between good and evil!
Because that knowledge was imparted after eating the forbidden magical fruit.[/i]

And then, you dismiss genetic inheritance as nothing important, don't you? When Adam disobeyed, he could not pass perfection on to his children. He genetically passed on imperfection and thus death, just as Adam and Eve were programmed now to die (as they had been warned).
That assumes facts not in evidence. Are you suggesting that God's punishment involved deliberate manipulation of their genes to allow for all the diseases, pain, suffering and death that he imposed on all of humanity for the actions of these two people? Please supply biblical support for this genetic explanation. How did people explain what had happened for the thousands of years before genes were discovered? This all seem to be a backward step when you consider that demons were known to be the cause of diseases, until we discovered germs.

Their children were not responsible for this death, but they could not escape it because of genetic laws. Because the descendents of Adam could not escape death, Jehovah has provided a ransom to get us out of death's curse. That is why Jesus died for us, so we could live forever, just as Adam and Eve were supposed to.
Did the death of Jesus undo the genetics that brought on death? I don't think so. The death of Jesus in no way did anything, unless you consider that it gave God permission to bring people back after they died. It is, however, in no way specifically connected to what you suggest happened after Adam and Eve disobeyed God.
