Hi everyone!
Just a quick reflection:
Is it true that, if your God is angry, then you become angry?
Or conversely, if your God is love, then you become more loving?
Blessings to all,
brian

I'd think it's the other way around.
As Shakespeare put it: "The Devil can cite scripture for his purpose."
If you're angry, chances are you'll interpret your 'God' to be angry and hate those that you hate.
If you're as happy as a sack of kittens, chances are that you think God is, too.
By your logic, I don't exist.

So if someone preaches an angry God, then we know that that person is angry.
And if that person is angry, what might be his/her reason to "accept Christ," who is meek, lowly, loving, gentle and kind?

Actually, i do believe it's possibile for a bad doctrine to pollute a good heart. I have seen it happen..AkiThePirate wrote:Because scripture is open to more than one interpretation:
Why they like Jesus, I don't know.
A similar case would be young men who enlist in the army, and basically become demolishing machines. They get brainwashed. -Movies have been made on this theme..
