Were someone to tell you, "God is not all powerful. Can he make a stone he can't lift? A round square?"
How does God fit into paradoxes?
What would you say?

There is a thread on this question under Philosophy (Can God create a rock so big that he cannot lift it?). The way I understand it, one must first determine if the question is valid. I suggest you go through the thread, particularly the last few pages.
Re: What would you say?
Post #3Of course God could make a stone he couldn't lift by making the stone contain the universe so any movement would be, from all observable positions, relatively zero. Of course God could also promise someone he wouldn't lift it and so could not do it in all good conscience.foshizzle wrote:Were someone to tell you, "God is not all powerful. As for making a round square I suppose he could give Bill Gates a craving for Big Macs.
