My answer is a resounding "no".
The reason is threefold.
1. Constitution.
The Second Amendment clearly states that "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed", because "a well regulated milita [is] necessary to the security of a free state."
2. Crime.
It has been proven, without a shadow of doubt, that gun bans drastically increase crime. Look at DC, NYC, Chicago, or the UK.
3. Self Defense.
Without firearms the American people are without the ability to defend themselves from tyranous government, and criminals.
What think you?
BTW, if you are going to respond, please respond for at least 5 posts (for five "refutation" types of argument ).
God bless,

I'm sorry, RightWing, but this is a religion forum and all topics must have something to do with religion. Unless you can make a convincing case for gun ownership having some relevance to Christianity, I am going to have to close the thread.
If not, allow me to recommend America's Debate as an excellent forum for discussing American political matters.
