Ask A Catholic Anything

Post by His Name Is John »

Every protestant I have ever met had some incorrect views about what Catholics believe. Now I don't mind this, and I am not trying to knock other Christians, but I see this an opportunity to explain the Catholic views to other people.

I would post this in the theology forum of the debating section, but I would rather be not have the added complication of arguing with atheists. Here among brothers I think it will be a simple question and answers, rather than an out and out brawl.

If there are any other Catholic's around feel free to give me a hand.

Fire away!

What is the Roman Catholic understanding of the role of the church?

And can you cite your sources?
