Hi to all and this question is adressed by Paul in Col 3:3 !!
Col 3:3 , reads that when we are saved , we have been " HIDDEN / KRYPTO with Christ in God " .
HIDDEN is in the Perfect Tense , Passive voice and in the Indicatice Mood .
The Mood says that what Paul wrote in Col 3:3 , is a FACT .
The Passive Voice means that Christ is doing the HIDDING and the Saving through His blood and not through Works OR through any Effort from man !!
The PERFECT TENSE , means that Past Action with CONTINUING Results .
This means that at your point of Salvation is the Past Tense !!
The CONTINUING RESULTS continue until we die , for we are always in Present Time .
So , OSAS !!
Man can never Lose his salvation , once he is saved !!

Post #2That's a relief 'cause I'm notorious at misplacing things.dan p wrote: Man can never Lose his salvation , once he is saved !!
My mother used to say I'd lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body.
She's right ya know.
So now I know that my salvation thingy is attached firmly to my soul.
I kinda knew that in my gut all along, but it's always nice to have these things confirmed by ancient rumors.
