When you ask people what they're thankful for, the reply is usually something like "home," "family" or "health." All good things to be thankful for. But Dr. Munro is taking thankfulness to a deeper level, helping us realize the preciousness of God's Word, His peace and the joy it provides. Join us all week for more on thankfulness.

Kroll

I read through this thread and the comments made. In response to all of that, I must say that I haven't listened to Kroll lately, but I have in the past and, from what I have heard, he seems to present orthodox Christianity. I expect he doesn't suggest a specific denomination because he doesn't want to be labelled Baptist or Anglican or Methodist or Pentecostal. I agree with Theophilus40 that we are to be like the Bereans and line up Bible teaching with Scripture itself.

I listen to a number of podcasts from preachers such as Chip Ingram, Charles Price, Colin Smith, and Bob Coy -- all very different in style, but all grounded strongly in the Word.

I don't get too excited if people differ re: their interpretation of Revelation. It's prophecy and we can't be too dogmatic about how we understand it. I have my beliefs about how it will play out and can support them Biblically, but I don't argue about them with people who disagree with me.

When it comes to being a Christian, what part, if any, do works play in our lives? Dr. John Munro digs into Galatians chapter three to explore the difference between the works of the Law and the Gospel of grace. As he contrasts the two, he points us to a life of freedom, deliverance, hope, and security--a life that's in Christ Jesus.
