How to praise a member's post:

- Next to the user's post that you like, click on "MPG Donation".
- Enter how many tokens you'd like to donate and enter a comment on that particular post. It'll then send a PM to that user and also automatically post in this thread the message you entered.
- MPG donations may not be used for anything other than to praise a post or to acknowledge agreement. It cannot be used to denigrate, debate, or question a post.

And there we have it. A piece of cloth can have just as much power as a god can.

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.

And that should be the end of the debate right there. Topic should be locked now. It's done.

Excellent. Tokens to emphasize these important points.
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Thanks for the work here. I feel like I'm receiving a free education when I read your posts.

Agreed. Christianity has nothing to do with morality.

Another excellent point which deserves emphasis via some tokens.

"And when every Gentile (racist term there) has received a Christian tract, Jesus will be free to burst through the clouds with his armies of angels to exterminate those who thought it was just primitive, superstitious make-believe ... "

Truly. It would really be difficult to even think up a more ridiculous religion.

My intention was to provoke debate and discussion. Being good is such a trap that following Jesus gets you out of.
