And how people SHOULD live is good. Self-evidently good. Godly ideals.

As usual, your Scriptural support is spot-on.
My theological positions:

-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.

I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

More than a few well made posts on this thread. This is certainly another, and worthy of some tokens. Thank you Marco.

It burns! It burns!
Some say it came from Memphis down in Tennessee
Or it drifted in from Georgia about 1953
Just as long as it's greasy, as long as it's fast
As long as it's pumpin' honey, it's gonna last

It's the hillbilly rock, beat it with a drum
Playin' them guitars like shootin' from a gun
Keepin' up the rhythm, steady as a clock
Doin' a little thing called the hillbilly rock

Your post absolutely deserves a Gold Star here because you are exactly correct.

The idea that Tart's experience would be free from cultural influence is absolutely absurd. Like you say, had he been born and raised in a Muslim culture he would have turned to the Qur'an instead. Had he been born in India he'd be turning to Buddhism, or Hinduism, etc.

To say that Tart's religious leanings were independent of his parents influences, or the culture in which he as raised is absolute nonsense. It wouldn't matter if he had been surrounded by "atheists", especially if those atheists were rejecting Christianity. That alone is a cultural influence that focuses on Christianity.

To focus on rejecting Christianity is still focusing on Christianity. Tart may very well have thought, "Hey what are these people rejecting? Perhaps I'll look into that."

Succinct, and I concur.

Well said Willum. :)

The extent of your argument seems to be that laptops and Wendy's burgers establish that god is good. It's not a terribly complex theology, but easy to understand.

That's your new signature. 10/10. Would read again.
"The historical method can only tell us what probably or most likely happened in the past. Since miracles are, by definition, improbable, if not in fact impossible, they are methodologically outside the bounds of historical inquiry.

History, then, as a disciple, cannot tell us if Jesus was divine or worked miracles any more than it can for Alexander the Great or Caesar Augustus[...]Any supernatural claim about Jesus can only be accepted as a matter of faith. Again, this is the domain of theology rather than history."

I like this:
Conclusion, there is no greater or more beautiful gift than a life with the freedom to love and be loved. God chose to give such a life first to intelligent spirit beings that he created like himself then to his human creation on earth. It was more than benevolent and generous, it was loving. No surprise there, because "God is love"
PCE Theology as I see it...

We had an existence with a free will in Sheol before the creation of the physical universe. Here we chose to be able to become holy or to be eternally evil in YHWH's sight. Then the physical universe was created and all sinners were sent to earth.

This theology debunks the need to base Christianity upon the blasphemy of creating us in Adam's sin.

I think DIs thread sparked me to create this one

Looking for head to head debates, especially on contradictions or the Trinity. PM me your topic.

Catching this is worth a donation!

We may very well have different definitions of patience, but I'm not sure you don't have different definitions by yourself. You started out arguing that God should get rid of evil immediately. Now, you interpret the Flood story as God doing just that and fault Him for that.
