Is that your FINAL answer, that God might be preventing 99% of evil?
Are people really that bad? if he is stopping 99% more rapes, most women would be raped five times in their lifetime. That is irrational.
So, no.
God can not be shown to be influencing anything... so his involvement is definitively marginal, deflecting routes that rely on coincidence and so on.

I will never understand how someone who claims to know the ultimate truth, of God, believes they deserve respect, when they cannot distinguish it from a fairy-tale.
You know, science and logic are hard: Religion and fairy tales might be more your speed.
To continue to argue for the Hebrew invention of God is actually an insult to the very concept of a God. - Divine Insight

Yes, indeed. No God needed.

To be clear: Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods.

I must assume that knowing is better than not knowing, venturing than not venturing; and that magic and illusion, however rich, however alluring, ultimately weaken the human spirit.

Isn't bearing false witness a sin?
Wow, I would like to know what he does for redemption...

Certainly it is wrong. That is true regardless of interpretation.

You don't have to post twice, you can edit your posts, with the edit button.
Atheist means they don't believe in God or gods.
That isn't complex.
EVERY theist seems to have their own version of what they believe God is, and gets upset when others don't telepathically read their minds.
