How to praise a member's post:

- Next to the user's post that you like, click on "MPG Donation".
- Enter how many tokens you'd like to donate and enter a comment on that particular post. It'll then send a PM to that user and also automatically post in this thread the message you entered.
- MPG donations may not be used for anything other than to praise a post or to acknowledge agreement. It cannot be used to denigrate, debate, or question a post.

In today's edition of "Ask a Jew".

I've never encountered a Jew that thought they were 'special' in the eyes of God, that they didn't hold themselves accountable to that charge.

Have you never had an experience which is mind blowing and confirmed something which you consider a confirmation of something which you once were told but never believed?

I want to give you credit here. You put together an interesting logical argument. While the argument ultimately fails, it took me the better part of an evening to see why specifically it fails. It was a good brain teaser. Well done.

"Somehow your brain was convinced that the Bible was valid causing you to believe."

I think you nailed it!
You can give a man a fish and he will be fed for a day, or you can teach a man to pray for fish and he will starve to death.

I blame man for codifying those rules into a book which allowed superstitious people to perpetuate a barbaric practice. Rules that must be followed or face an invisible beings wrath. - KenRU

It is sad that in an age of freedom some people are enslaved by the nomads of old. - Marco

If you are unable to demonstrate that what you believe is true and you absolve yourself of the burden of proof, then what is the purpose of your arguments? - brunumb

You can be a marvel.
That is simultaneously beautiful and funny.
I will never understand how someone who claims to know the ultimate truth, of God, believes they deserve respect, when they cannot distinguish it from a fairy-tale.

You know, science and logic are hard: Religion and fairy tales might be more your speed.

To continue to argue for the Hebrew invention of God is actually an insult to the very concept of a God. - Divine Insight

If you are unwilling to know your own holy book, why should I care?
