Here's the deal. Dazzle us with some nice poetry and I'll give you some likes and maybe even some tokens.
For inspiration I'll shine this laser pointer at the wall and move it all over the place.

cutting through darkness like a florescence razor
Igniting the catnip in a vaporized cloud
that intoxicates felines that it will enshroud
Purring, meowing, and growling galore
looking for tokens to add to their score
lusting for likes of all kinds and types
for attention that they so adore
Clawing for fame is the name of the game
whilst refusing to burden the blame
A quite Random Rambling
from an innocent cat
who refuses to author the shame
An incredible thought
for a likeable plot
designed to alleviate pain
Of feeling unloved
in a world that's been shoved
down the political drain
And so the ode goes
as the world carries on
whilst becoming immensely insane
For the leader of humans
who's just been elected
is a human who hasn't a brain
(sorry couldn't resist the political twist)

- Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
I'd surely like to act older
Gimme Gimme I say
That seems to be Blastcat's way
And I think you should now be bowled over

Moderator Warning!
I've had no coffee yet this morning
but your single line deserves a fine
so I'm giving you this scorning!
Contribute to the topic
or you'll be banished to the street
Our "likes" are philanthropic
to be given as a treat
No begging for these favors
of honorary status
or there won't be any waivers
as you are placed upon hiatus
Note: This warning does not count as a strike against you because it was nothing more than artistic freedom being expressed in a Random Rambling thread. But it could have been the real deal so watch your back Picard!

Tossing likes in random threads
the forums must be boring
Apparently there are no heads
worthy of exploring
The world is coming to its end
and life is all but over
Debates that no one can defend
without resorting to an ogre
Even poets waste their skills
posting incoherent frills
of lyrics that no one ever sings
It is any wonder
in a universe of blunder
where the paupers are the subjects of their kings?
