Jesus is worshiped in every book of the New Testament
Post #1Why do some deny the Lord Jesus is worshiped despite the fact that in every book of the New Testament it affirms He is worshiped?

Post #2Please provide one quote from every book in the New Testament to support your assertion.Faber wrote: Why do some deny the Lord Jesus is worshiped despite the fact that in every book of the New Testament it affirms He is worshiped?
My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

Or I could just open my Bible.
Rather than answer one by one, I'll try to focus on the ones you provided that don't indicate Jesus-worship.
Or that are clearly open to interpretation.

Possibly. But even within those same books, there are indicators that Jesus is not God. The GoJ, for example. This is going to take some time.Faber wrote: If you focus on the ones that don't indicate "Jesus-worship" does that mean the others do indicate "Jesus-worship"?
The fact that the Scriptures are contradictory on the matter of Christ's Divinity*, are indications that his Divinization was an evolution, and the books of the New Testament are snapshots of a particular stage of process.

The only way to believe the Lord Jesus is not God is to:
1. Play make believe with how the words of the Bible are properly defined.
2. Deny certain passages or even books are Scripture.
The Zondervan Encyclopedia of the Bible: There may be reasons why the deity of Christ might be controverted, but such reasons cannot be drawn from any serious acceptance of Scripture (2:92, deity of Christ, A. H. Leitch).
