The meaning of this group is both literal and metaphoric. To belong, you must declare that you do not believe in any of the modern manifestations of Santa Claus along with the magic and supernatural powers frequently associated with him, flying sleighs, unexplained knowledge of good and bad etc. Belief in the existence of an ordinary man, Nicholas, who may have been the source of the myth is allowed.
By requesting membership in this group, you are also declaring that you do believe that the current practice of deceiving children into literal belief in Santa Claus is a bad thing. And, in general, you believe that it is wrong to encourage belief in things you know to be untrue.

how much you're going to charge people to join: No charge

Looking at the database, there's a limit of 255 chars for description. Could you revise your description?

Sure

I'd like two groups :

Name : Transhumanists
Description : Humanity will be radically changed by technology in the future. We foresee the feasibility of redesigning the human condition. This is for anyone that agrees with that and the rest of The Transhumanist Declaration.

Name : Hominidae
Description : This group, also know as the Great Apes, includes humans, chimpanzees, gorillas, orangutans, and all of our extinct ancestors. It generally applies to anything that shares 97% of their DNA with humans. All membership requires is acceptance of that.

If you can't fit the link in, or it won't go in, just remove the link part and leave the text please.
  • You are free to do what you want, but you are not free to want what you want.

Groups created. The link could not fit it, but the text could.

Could I have another group?

Name : Freethinkers
Description : Freethought is a philosophical doctrine that holds that beliefs should be formed on the basis of science and logical principles and not be comprised by authority, tradition or any other dogmatic or other belief system that restricts logical reasoning.
