What is God?
Is God not beyond definition?
Why do we argue about the existence of that which is beyond definition?
What is God?

No it is not!
Any state of any world proves only its current state.
You are saying that a rouge wave proves God, or Jupter's red eye, or Thea plummeting in proto-Terra proves God, or round bubbles, etc....
It in no way does.

I present the evidence again and again but you do not accept it. This world is the evidence which reveals the presence of God.

no I am saying the perceptive wisdom of the ages psychologically and spiritually is more trustworthy than you give it credit. The ancients were just as and maybe more inciteful than we moderns when it comes to the divine principle they observed in all things. Take a verse from the book of Job for example.
Job 12:7-9 "9New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
7
“But ask the animals, and they will teach you;
the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
8
ask the plants of the earth,[a] and they will teach you;
and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
9
Who among all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
Two questions ; Do you base your disbelief on what you have read,
and have you experienced evidence that God doesn't exist?

"Faith is necessary in order to believe in false things. Why should we accept anything on faith?"
Faith is of truth.
As your truth is so is your faith.

Post #96Right, we'd all be living in caves, huddled around each other for warmth if it weren't for faith.dio9 wrote: [Replying to post 94 by Monta]

Just ask all the other cultures who have faith in those wrong religions. They never did advance did they?

can you answer my question, do you not believe because of something you have read?

When I was a child I would believe things I read.
As an adult, I take things in context:
In my life many things have changed, even things in text books have been discovered to be wrong. I've discovered a few things in textbooks to be wrong.
Ancients were more wrong than we are, and for obvious reasons.
Why do you ask?

Faith is of truth.
As your truth is so is your faith.
Again, if I want to believe that Allah is the one true god, it takes faith.
If I want to believe that Hinduism got it right, then it takes faith.
If I want to believe there is a teapot in orbit around the sun, it takes faith.
We can even believe that the earth is flat if we want to take that claim on faith.
Therefore, you are wrong when you say faith is of truth. It can be sure, but it is not by default which is the way you are attempting to make it sound.

Post #100Did your mommy tell you this, or were you going to start presenting actual arguments here on this debate forum?dio9 wrote: [Replying to post 94 by Monta]

Perhaps your mommy will join so she can tell us why she makes these claims? I am curious after all.
