Suicide-Bombing for Jesus

The Philistines brought Samson out before a great crowd of rulers and thousands of people gathered in the temple to celebrate his capture. Samson's hair had begun to grow back and as he leaned against the pillars of the temple, he prayed to God for strength once more to defeat the Philistines. Samson used all of his might and pushed down the temple, killing himself and thousands of Philistines and rulers. https://www.biblestudytools.com/bible-s ... lilah.html

"Killing HIMSELF and THOUSANDS ..." of people from another culture.

It's in the "Word of God".

Could it be used to legitimise suicide-bombing for Jesus ...?
"God" … just whatever humans imagine it to be.

"Scripture" … just whatever humans write it to be.

Ready to Die for Jesus (Acts 21:1-16)

Given the Christian propensity to believe whatever they are taught by their "spiritual leaders" …

Think of Waco.

And it's only a small step to use all this to become a suicide-martyr for Jesus ….

This is stuff that is IN the biblical writings, and it COULD be used. No matter HOW much other Christians say no "true" Christian would ever shove such a thistle in their sporran.

By way of comparison, there is NOTHING like it in the Quran, and STILL people of faith will turn themselves into suicide-bombers in the name of THEIR version of "God".
"God" … just whatever humans imagine it to be.

"Scripture" … just whatever humans write it to be.

No faith is worth dying for in my opinion.

No. The story is descriptive, not prescriptive. The Bible describes what happened, but it is not commanding others to do those things. Just because something is done in the Bible doesn't mean that it can be used as justification to also do those things.
Yet Samson was a judge, so a christian court of law should approve of a modern copycat!

For if he had been, the Angel Moroni never would have taken the risk of enthrusting him with the Golden Plates❗"
