Christians love Jesus.
Jesus is their lord.
They want to spend eternity with him.
Only they have no idea who he is or what he wants. They are drawn to the idea of living forever and being able to eat bacon with God's blessing. They read the glorious sounding authoratative words spoken by the one called Jesus and they are impressed. What a salvation plan the Christian testament offers. To receive eternal life all they have to do is say Jesus is their lord. BUT if they choose to keep the statutes, ordinances &c that God commanded we keep (and to keep forever by the way) then Jesus wont profit them anything.
So heres the deal: If you want to live forever it requires they disobey God. And they must call the one who makes light if God's laws their lord. In other words they have to give up all they have - God in the hopes of living forever. For Christians its nit about what God wants from them. Its what they want God to do for them.
Satan was right when he said: All a man has he'll give for his life. His statement is proves true.
Christians love Jesus? How can they? Why they know nothing about him. Dont Christians read their testament? The one they call Jesus told them quite clearly: THE WORDS HE SPEAKS S ARE NOT HIS. AND HE DIDNT COME TO DO HIS WILL.
So then...
All those elegant speeches werent from their lord Jesus. And he did not perform his will. Then what are his own thoughts and words? They don't know. And just what is his will?
They have no idea who they are spending eternity with. One thing is certain: its not the one who acted like he loved them.
Take heed Christians. And rethink what it says about the parable of the sheep. Your lord has told you how sheep are led away. He said they wont follow a strangers voice. But they will follow a voice they trust. And once the sheep are in the gate the door is shut behind them.
Christians are following a heavenly sounding voice. But that voice does not belong to their lord whobis leadibg them to his kingdom. When they finally hear the real voice of their lord they will know his will. But it will be too late. The door will be shut.
They made the mistake of putting Gods desires second. Eternal life...they will have that. With their lord
