The real teachings of Jesus

Post by kjw47 »

8) real teachings from Jesus found in every translation on earth--clearly shows who he is with

1) Matthew 6:33-Therefore keep on seeking- FIRST- the kingdom and his ( YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these things will be added( sustenance, covering, spirituality) Matt 6

2) Matthew 5:5- Blessed are the meek( great crowd) for they will inherit the earth

3) The Lords prayer-- Hallowed be thy(Father) name= YHWH(Jehovah) in some translations-last line-the kingdom, power and glory are all the Fathers.

4)At John 17:1-6,26--Verse 3- This means eternal life, their knowing you( Father) THE ONLY TRUE GOD and the one whom you sent forth Christ Jesus--verse 6 = YHWH(Jehovah) verse 26= YHWH(Jehovah)-----2 major points here-Jesus said the Father is the only true God and that God sent him, God did not come down here.

5) At John 20:17-Jesus tells all the Father is his God just like ours and reaffirms that while back in heaven at Revelation 3:12---Paul teaches that fact-1Cor 15:24-28, Coll 1:3, Eph 1:13,17, as does Peter-1Peter1:3

6) At John 4:22-24-Jesus begins by warning all other Gods are false, then teaches--the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth--Paul does the same at 1 Cor 8:5-6--Warns of false Gods then names only the Father as God.

7)Jesus gives this warning at John 15:20-21--He says--some will do things against the true worshippers on account of his name( meaning they think they are standing up for his name) Why??? Because they do not know the one who sent him=Father-THE ONLY TRUE GOD

8)At Matthew 28:18- All authority has been given me in heaven and on earth---If Jesus were God he would of already had the authority, but its clear reasoning that someone superior gave to him that authority.

Its not very hard to see who is who once they actually know what Jesus teaches. All his real teachers teach exactly what he taught.

kjw47 is right. Not every Christian will sit on thrones. There is a "little flock" that will sit on thrones in heaven with Jesus (Luke 12:32). They will be guiding all the billions of Christians who live on the earth. It is only the little flock of 144,000 people from the earth that have joined Jesus in the covenant for a Kingdom. That covenant the "great crowd" of Christians is not involved with. (Revelation 7:9,14. See also Lev.9:5) Only the anointed, by Holy Spirit, will rule with Jesus.

9) Christ says that anyone may eat His flesh. Christ teaches that the one who eats His flesh and drinks His blood remains in Him and Him in them. Christ teaches that unless one eats His flesh and drinks His blood, one has no life in them.

From John 6:

"But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die. 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

“Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Hello, At Luke 22:29-30--Jesus is clear--a covenant made to those who will sit on thrones.= The anointed bride= the little flock( Luke 12:32)= 144,000 bought from the earth( Rev 14:3)--Jesus was speaking to the little flock In your verse 54-58
Everyone has a "reason" for why they do not listen to Christ on this matter or that matter.

But Christ is clear that ANYONE may eat.

Not "some" Christians.

Anyone.

And WHOEVER eats His flesh and drinks His blood remains in Him and Him in them.

UNLESS one eats His flesh and drinks His blood, one has no life in them.

But it is up to you who you listen to.

I will listen to Christ.

May anyone who wishes them be given ears to hear, so that you may hear the Spirit and the Bride say to you, "Come!" May anyone who wishes and anyone who thirsts, "Come! Take the free gift of the water of Life!"

Peace again to you,
your servant and a slave of Christ,

Luke 22:29-30 is clear--a covenant made to those who will sit on thrones. ))) Its a major sin for the great crowd to partake.

Who taught you that it is a major sin for the great crowd to partake?

Christ did not teach this.

The apostles did not teach this.

Paul did not teach this.

It is a false teaching.

If it were true, kjw, Christ would have told us!

Instead, Christ - the Son of God, the Holy One of God - said that ANYONE may eat; that WHOEVER eats His flesh and drinks His blood remains in Him and Him in them. He even said that UNLESS one eats His flesh and drinks His blood, one has NO life in them. < - These are His words, kjw. If we love Him, if we are truly His disciples, aren't we supposed to remain in HIS word, obey HIS commandments?

Peace again to you,
your servant and a slave of Christ,
tammy

Luke 22:29-30 is clear--a covenant made to those will sit on thrones.
#1 - You did not provide even one statement from Christ (or the apostles) that it is a sin for the 'great crowd' to partake. You cannot, because that is a false teaching from a religion that uses fear to control people (and keep them from listening to Christ.)

#2 - Luke is clear about there being a new covenant. But Christ (as written in "John") is also clear that anyone may eat and drink His body and blood. The reason these things contradict for you is because your religion has created a false doctrine based upon their interpretations (of things like 'little flock', 'other sheep', 'great crowd', 'anointed'.)

If you claim their teachings are true, then please tell me:

Where does Christ teach that only SOME Christians are His brothers but most others are not?
Where does Christ teach that only SOME Christians are His Bride but most others are not?
Where does Christ teach that only SOME Christians are His Church but most others are not?
Where does Christ teach that only SOME Christians may eat and drink His flesh and blood, but most others cannot? HIS OWN WORDS contradict that false teaching. HIS OWN WORDS state that ANYONE may eat His flesh and drink His blood. He even says that UNLESS a person eats His flesh and drinks His blood, that person has NO LIFE IN THEM.

If Christ does not teach these things, then why listen to them instead of to Christ? How are jws doing any different than people in other religions who who listen to the teachings of their religion instead of listening to Christ?

Jeremiah 5:30, 31.

As well as those verses teaching us about slavery.

Matthew 6:24
“You cannot be a slave of two masters; you will hate one and love the other; you will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Matthew 10:24
A disciple is not above his teacher, or a slave above his master.

Luke 12:42
And the Lord said, ‘Who then is the faithful and prudent manager whom his master will put in charge of his slaves, to give them their allowance of food at the proper time?

Luke 12:46-48
46 the master of that slave will come on a day which he does not expect, and at an hour which he does not know. And he will cut him in two, and assign him his part with the unbelievers. 47 But that slave having known the will of his master, and not having prepared or acted in accordance with his will, will be beaten many blows. 48 But the one not having known, and having done things worthy of blows, will be beaten a few blows. And to everyone whom much was given, much will be sought from him. And to whom they entrusted much, they will ask him even more.

Luke 16:13

No domestic slave is able to serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and will despise the other. You are not able to serve God and money.”

Think we should treat people this way? How about censuring slavery altogether rather than condoning it as Jesus does. He accepts the ownership of people as easily as he accepts owning a mule, and without even a nod to its repugnance.

.
Well, get ready to be enslaved at the "end of the age", at the time of the "day of the LORD". Joel 3:7-8 Some will simply donate their services to Jacob (Isaiah 14:1-2). No end to what people will do to get food and shelter. I have heard that people enslave themselves daily, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. every day, and sell their souls to the company store.

I didn't say the things you said.
This is reality-- There is one flock, but 2 folds make up that flock----1) is the little flock( Luke 12:32)= the anointed bride of Christ=144,000( Rev 14:3) who are bought from the earth to rule as kings and priests on thrones beside Jesus( Rev 1:6, Rev 20:6)
2)The great crowd( Rev 7:9) no man can number( proves the little flock are the numbered 144,000) are the other sheep( John 10:16) who are not of that fold. These are promised the earth-Matt 5:5, Psalm 37:29)--Prov 2:21-22 proves they are not leaving the earth.
Jesus was clear-He made a covenant( to partake of the 2 emblems) to those that will sit on thrones( Luke 22:29-30)

Peace still to you,
your servant and a slave of Christ,
tammy

I didn't say the things you said.
What things?

You said it is a major sin for the great crowd to partake, didn't you? Where did Christ teach that? Where did any of the apostles teach that? Where does Christ teach that only some Christians can partake but most cannot?

You believe that most Christians are not the Bride, don't you? Where did Christ teach that? Where did any of the apostles teach that some Christians are the Bride but most are not?

As to questions I asked about His brothers and the Church, perhaps I am mistaken in your belief. Do you believe that the Bride = the Body of Christ/the Church?

This is reality-- There is one flock,

Yes.
but 2 folds make up that flock
Regardless of how many folds, the point is that they all make up one flock. Their origins are different, but they are now all one in Christ. They all listen to His voice.

I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. John 10:16

He even said to His apostles to go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything He had commanded the apostles.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... ... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matt 28:19-20

One of His commands is to eat His flesh and drink His blood:

While they were eating, [Jesus] took bread, spoke a blessing and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.” 27Then He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” Luke 22:19

If the apostles were commanded by Christ to teach the disciples to obey everything He had commanded them (the apostles), how can a religion tell you that you that this command is not for you?
----1) is the little flock( Luke 12:32)= the anointed bride of Christ=144,000( Rev 14:3) who are bought from the earth to rule as kings and priests on thrones beside Jesus( Rev 1:6, Rev 20:6)
Please tell me:

Who who has been bought from the earth and what were they bought with?
2)The great crowd( Rev 7:9) no man can number( proves the little flock are the numbered 144,000) are the other sheep( John 10:16) who are not of that fold.
The great crowd is not numbered, correct. The 144 000 are indeed numbered, also correct... but then it is explicitly stated who these 144 000 are : 12 000 people from 12 tribes of Israel (12 X 12 000 = 144 000). They are the remnant of (physical) Israel that God has reserved for Himself. Consider the apostles (and the earliest disciples). They were literal Israel, and Christian.

Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. Rev 7:4

144 000 encompasses people from 12 tribes of Israel. On the other hand, the great crowd encompasses people from EVERY tribe, nation, tongue, and people (more than just the 12 tribes of Israel). But they are ALL before the throne of God; they are ALL rendering sacred service (something priests do) IN THE TEMPLE.
These are promised the earth-Matt 5:5, Psalm 37:29)--Prov 2:21-22 proves they are not leaving the earth.
New Jerusalem = the Bride, and she comes down out of heaven. The reign is upon the earth.

I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. Rev 21:2

Jesus was clear-He made a covenant( to partake of the 2 emblems) to those that will sit on thrones( Luke 22:29-30)
He made a covenant with those who will sit on thrones, yes. He never said that only some Christians would be part of that covenant. He did not put a limit on who might eat His flesh and drink His blood. He said anyone may eat, whoever eats and drinks His flesh and blood remain in Him and Him in them; and unless one eats and drinks, one has NO life in them.

With your free will, who will you believe?

The great crowd( Rev 7:9) are the other sheep( John 10:16) who are not of that fold, no man can number them. That is fact. Its a great sin for the great crowd to partake of a covenant only made to the little flock.

I showed you its a covenant made only to those who will sit on thrones= The little flock= numbered 144,000--Only members of the little flock were present at the Lords supper. By partaking one is saying we don't care what you think Jesus or whom the covenant was made to. Only blind guides tell all to partake.
