Can a soul remain for a long time in a frozen embryo and be born into a living baby?

We discuss logics all around, including contradiction logics if one so wishes.

Can a soul remain for a long time in a frozen embryo and be born into a living baby?

[An online spiritual discussion was conducted on December 06, 2020, in which several devotees participated. Some of the questions of devotees answered by Swāmi are given below.]

[Śrī Durgaprasad asked: I have heard that scientists preserved a fertilized embryo for about 27 years and then incubated it so that a human baby was born out of it. Is it possible for a soul to exist in an embryo for that long?]

Swāmi replied:
Why not? If you can keep the embryo alive by maintaining suitable external conditions, it is possible for the soul to continue to exist in it and be born as a living baby. This is a scientific fact and was proved practically by the scientists. There is nothing related to God’s unimaginable nature in such an experiment. If you want to know the maximum period upto which the embryo can be preserved, you should ask those scientists. This topic only belongs to the imaginable domain and not to the unimaginable domain (God). With reference to the unimaginable domain, I can say that God can preserve the embryo for any long period of time, even without the suitable external conditions. Science is the ultimate authority in the analysis of imaginable items of this imaginable world. Spiritual knowledge is the authority for matters related to the unimaginable domain. We should not mix both. God Datta lived in the womb of His mother Anasūyā only for nine days and came out as a full-fledged child. This is a miracle that belongs to the unimaginable domain of God. As per the normal principle of the imaginable domain, the embryo must stay in the womb of the mother for about nine months.
