Jesus, a mess of his own making?

This guy may have sailed, 'too close to the wind'!
Unintentionally, he has created a monster

A Caring God

By pushing, the attentive shepherd, the child-friendly approachability, the forgiving father, the benevolent master, etc, themes,.......what has he done???

He has created hope and refuge in a caring God. The basis for a Caring God, in any way that is not merely allegorical, in nature is farcical and presumptuous, imho.

God is like these things but not these things.

This new fledgling Caring God is not the Biblical Yahweh,..I do not think it is even Allah(not sure).
This is what the Sanhedrin instinctively knew!
Jesus had instigated a new God!

We have been stuck with this montage, ever since!

Correct me if I am wrong!

Thanks!

Could you prove your claim correct? I don't know any intelligent reason to accept your claim.

Hi 1213, is there another God who sent his Son to earth to be crucified. If there isn't, then this one is a new God!

Do a bit of work here,1213, it's easy to take pot shots from the ditches! I have a lot of material submitted here already, please take a look at it? In fairness ,I did ask for questions.
Thanks

This is a new God...1213!

Ephesians 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Apologies for the long quote but Paul was having great difficulty, 'spelling it out' to his readers.

Why do you think He is a new God?

Because there is no reason to think He is not. I think the OT God is exactly the same as NT God. They have same will.

Thanks 1213,

Isaiah 9:
"For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

Isaiah 11
6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isaiah 12
5 Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Please explain this to me,1213, as you see it! I am confused!

Jesus never promoted all that; you're probably thinking of Paul?
But it would help if you would show what Jesus said or did to give you such ideas?

Read the Opening Post,, oldbadger!

I said, unintentionally he has created this monster.

Jesus/Paul, Paul/Jesus ,it matters little,in what proportions, ...the brew was made, it is called Christianity!
Thanks

I did.
The Thread Title is all about 'Jesus'.
I said, unintentionally he has created this monster.
...he...? who was 'he'?
Jesus/Paul, Paul/Jesus ,it matters little,in what proportions, ...the brew was made, it is called Christianity!
Thanks
Jesus had a completely different message to Paul.
Christianity is mostly Pauline, supported by the author/s of G-John and the rubbish in Revelation.
