And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

The question for this O.P. is, which ONE of the Godhead did man become like when they sinned?
I would like to put forth that they became like Jesus Christ, because it was only Jesus Christ who became sin and died for sin before the world began. So, when he (Jesus) created the world, he (as ONE of the three in the Godhead) was the one who had already knew good and evil.

DID THE FALL OF ADAM MAKE HIM LIKE JESUS OR YHWH?

It made him like both of them. While it is true that Jehovah occupies a unique position in the universe when it comes to who decides what is right or wrong, the context points to echad [one] being used as one united group rather than the ordinal first or one as in only (unique).

To illustrate : A group of five overweight individuals see a formerly thin friend had become obese. One says to his 4 companions, "Well, he has now become like one of us now!". The "us" refers to the group [of 5 different overweight people] and the "ONE" refers, not to the fact that all five are exactly the same but that they are "one" united in their common denominator of all being overweight to various degrees.

In a similar way, God the Father said to Jesus (The Word) that the fallen Adam had become like ONE [as in EACH one] of them. Notice God did not speak only for himself "Adam has become like me" but he included at least one other individual ("us").

(Genesis 3:22-23)

God was concerned enough about mankind undeservedly gaining everlasting spiritual life by eating from the Tree of Life that He expelled them from the Garden of Eden to separate them from the Tree of Life.

There are two type of bodies according to God -- natural and spiritual. Natural bodies perish and spiritual bodies live forever. Eating from the Tree of Life makes one immortal, and only spiritual bodies live forever. Do you now see how Genesis 3:22 is discussing body types?

The only one of the godhead that knew good and evil was Christ.

Are you claiming that God the Father is not all knowing?

And Christ was not born until about 4,000 years after the Garden of Eden re-creation of the earth. So Christ was not involved in Genesis.

We must never take any scripture for granted just because it goes against any doctrine we hold to be true. So, anyone who ignores passages like this one, for the sake of maintaining their own "truth", is doing themselves a great disservice.

Adam knew good from evil as well, but he took his actions to the extreme and defied Jehovah and "made himself like God and Jesus" by taking over his own life by making up his own rules.
