Summer of 2003

Summer of 2003.

That is when I first started to think seriously about religion and God.

Not correctly. Far from rationally. But seriously.

This is because I encountered Something. What that Something was, I did not know, or understand.
But it was Something. An experience.

I largely discounted this experience. I thought in many ways it was paltry. Phony. Insignificant. In the way of a divine snub.

But I have to admit, and I did admit to one extent or another, it altered me. It impacted me. It said something about me, and indicated things that otherwise could not be indicated.

I have to examine this period closely. The Summer of 2003. What it meant.

The key to the future lies in the revelation of the past. And the key to the future opens up the Present.
