Post #3In my time in apologetics, I have seen many prophecies and none have panned out. Even if intended sincerely believed, they were wrong. But I suspect they were frauds, to get attention or money. Gloom and doom is a favorite to garner support for religion and church if not personal attention.
If anyone wants to pick out the prophecies for the coming year we can check them off as they fail as the year goes on, unless they are too vague to mean anything, that might be worth doing. As for me, I am pretty disgusted by all purported prophets and their prophecies. If I had my way, anyone doing this would be slapped with a legal order that if the predictions don't pan out it's a civil case carrying heavy penalties.Then these people would be so eager to make these sweeping alarmist claims.
Whatever happened to that smarmy rat who smirked as he predicted the mid Usa being devastated by meteors or earthquakes and then leading prayers? I trust he has been totally discredited and shamed.
