Argument Against Miracles, Argument Against Abiogenesis

Post by Dimmesdale »

Since we only see life come from living beings reproducing said life, the onus is on the abiogenesist to demonstrate the opposite is possible. And no, not showing some ideal condition in the labs leading to the formation of molecular RNA or whatnot; rather, that it is plausible for a primordial earth environment to emanate life. As this has never been demonstrated, I do not believe life originated from non-life, and therefore I look to an Origin of life that is also living.

If one wants to deny the validity of miracles, that they break what is empirically verifiable of Nature's laws, then in the same manner one must accept this same logic. Otherwise, one would have to admit at least one miracle: life coming from non-life.
