What is a soul?

Post by Skrill »

It is fact that the Physical Brain controls memories, personality. Thousands of other actions are all controlled by our nervous system, which is managed by our brains.

Therefore, what consensus is there for any evidence for a soul(s)? As the existence of the soul is very central to any belief or religion.

I just explained why I agree with it. C'mon. P lease read my posts. I find myself having to explain things to you over and over. OK, fine. I don't expect that everyone should get it the first time. But still, this is getting a bit tedious, which is why I encourage you read my posts a bit more carefully.

I think someone else made those statements.
True.. I inadvertently pasted your nickname when the quotes should have been attributed to "Checkpoint".

Blastcat stand corrected.
Thanks.

I put him on "ignore," but unfortunately I see his posts in others' posts.

Likewise, this too is nothing but a rant against another member. Please refrain from posts that attack other members and add nothing to the debate.

Look, my friend, I have no intention of ranting against other members or personally attacking them or anything of the like. From time to time, some of us do feel, rightly or wrongly, that others are missing key items we have addressed in our posts. If so, then it is one's responsibility to point that out. I recently got several posts, arguing I was doing just that. So, I checked things out and then responded, explaining why I felt otherwise. So I see no problem here.

Here's a recent example of a post I received, where the poster, 2 Tim., is telling me, in not so nice of a way, that I haven't read previous posts thoroughly. Yet you did not give him a warning.
The above statement is like asking for water from someone, then the person points to a table of cups filled with water. The person asking refuses to go get one and demands the person go make them glass right in front of them. What the person provides is nothing different from the water found on the table. What would you think of such an odd request from such an uncompromising person?
