If you belive God create it, then God at least does nothing to stop it. Is God killing many humans again to be spiteful? To teach us a lesson? Just because he can?

Post #11....JehovahsWitness wrote:God created all living things to live in perfect and healthful harmony. Sickness and death were never part of His purpose. Sickness, old age and premature death were introduced to humanity by our first parents Adam and Eve when they sinned against God.
....Mmmmk.

I'm stretching my logical charity muscle to the point of straining here, but viruses (they think) were actually bits of rogue DNA, in other words, bits of our DNA. So according to your theory (half-joking pic aside) our DNA shattered in response to the apple-pilfering, rendering the apple essentially poisoned.
If I have you correct here, God didn't intentionally inflict viruses on people, but he still created the universe in a way such that viruses would happen if humans took that first bite.
In other words, God didn't create viruses, but he did design them.
I am not disputing that God is not bound to follow human morality. I agree that he isn't. God is not bound by human morality. But let's look at it in terms of human morality anyway just to get a handle on the type of action this is.
...It's a booby trap. It's setting a booby trap that ages you and kills you and all your descendants for trespass. This isn't just a booby-trap, it's a genocide booby trap.
It is considered wrong.
http://www.lawyerlinda.com/booby-traps/
A genocide booby trap is just as wrong as creating a virus.
Maybe I've come to this in a roundabout way, but my conclusion is that you shouldn't be arguing that "it was the humans' fault" that they fell into a booby trap, because they shouldn't have trespassed.
You should be arguing that God can do whatever he wants because he's God. Even if he did create viruses (versus simply having designed them and have a booby trap create them) he has every right to do that, and it's not wrong or immoral.
You should be reading critically and picking out the other side's implication that if God did create viruses, that was somehow bad or wrong. You shouldn't be allowing yourself to fall into the trap of having to defend God's morality on the basis of a false assumption that if he's doing things that would be immoral for a human to do, then he is doing something immoral himself.

Post #12I believe people created it to get rid of other people and to get nice excuse for why the economy is so bad and banks need more money.Donray wrote: If you belive God create it, then God at least does nothing to stop it. And why God allows it, I believe it is because people wanted to know what evil means.

Sorry, I misunderstood. God obviously created sickness, disease, viruses, death etc. and only introduced them when he wanted to punish Adam and Eve.Did I say Adam and Eve "created" sickness?

WAS THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT POISONOUS?

There is nothing in scripture to indicate the fruit from the forbidden fruit was actually poisonous much less that when ingested the fuit contained a substance that would somehow alter their DNA. Rather than indicating their death was as a result of ingesting poisonous substances (both Adam and Eve died many years after eating from the forbidden tree), the bible indicates they died as a punishment for disobeying their Creator.

This is exactly the argument you should have been using from the beginning.

Re: Why did God create Coronavirus (COVID-19)?
Post #19That it doesn't matter if God created viruses or not.
This whole topic has an implicit thread that if God did create viruses, that was somehow wrong.
I think that implication should be addressed.

No that was not my argument (although it might be yours). See edit above.
