1. Who wrestled with Jacob in Genesis 32:24-25? And when Jacob wrote, in K.J.B. Genesis 32:30, "I have seen God (Elohim) face to face and my life has been preserved."
N.W.T. Genesis 32:30, "I have seen God (Elohim) Face to face and yet my soul was delivered."
2. Who did the parents of Samson see and make their offering to? And when it was over, Manoah said to his wife,
God or Elohim is in uppercase in both verses and both Bibles: The N.W.T. reads, "We shall positively die, because it is God (Elohim) that we have seen."
The K.J.B. reads, "We shall surely die, because we have seen God (Elohim)."
If you were a person off the street, and knew little about the Bible and had no religious affiliations, and read the verses above, who would you say the parents of Samson and Jacob saw? Please be honest in your response.

Is John 17:3 a comparison to the Father and Jesus to you? What a misinterpretation.
How is it that you don't even understand the context of John 17:3. JWs keep on quoting that verse but did not understand what the real message is. Try again, you might get it right.
And who does have the life/eternal life in 1 John 5:11?
Jhn 17:3 “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
I believe I have already presented this verses to you, can't you remember it?
Just answer the question, who has the life in 1 John 5:11?
1Jn 5:11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

This is just to confirm from you that the Father was telling the truth or you will make the Father a liar.

Re: Several Questions for Jehovah's Witnesses
Post #23We have eternal life because of Jesus Christ. He is the means of God's salvation for mankind. Jehovah God is the one spoken of in both verses. "And this is the witness given, that God gave us everlasting life and this life is in his Son." (1 John 5:11) I don't think that is making the Father a liar.Capbook wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 12:42 amGood, can you honestly answer who has the eternal life in 1 John 5:20 based on 1 John 5:11?onewithhim wrote: ↑Fri Jun 06, 2025 8:24 pmThe eternal life that God gives is in Son. Post #25No, and I have given you my thoughts on those verses. Jesus is the Father's means of salvation. Re: Several Questions for Jehovah's Witnesses
Post #28So, Jehovah's Son is just a parrot as well as a prop for the Father, a stand-in. Why didn't the Father come himself to save the world? Why bother sending his Son to suffer the pains of the cross? The Father could have come down, said with a loud voice to all mortals, "Follow me, or die in your sins." Then give the world 1 year to straighten out. After one year, zap all sinners and save those who obeyed him.onewithhim wrote: ↑Sun Jun 22, 2025 11:04 pmOf course not. Post #29Because Jehovah is just what His Son knew and appreciated: too magnificent to be confined in any way to the speck of dust that is this earth.
