This is not a comfortable place for Jews, and we are pretty obviously not welcome. I'll be leaving now.

CNorman's Hypocrisy

The reason is that you have a corrupt, biased, spiritually-challenged, and incompetent Jewish Moderator named CNorman who loves to throw his weight around with Christians - threatening them and insulting them whenever he pleases. He's broken numerous rules himself, and has been reported and cautioned a number of times (normally with only a limp wrist slap) by other moderators who let the man continue as a moderator. Astonishing. His hypocrisy in warning others while he continually breaks the rules himself is shocking.

My compliments to Otseng for his indulgence. (Sorry, Otseng, I can't stand another moment dealing with CNorman's sophomoric attitudes and behaviors).

And unless the stiff-necked crowd repents and receives Christ as their Savior, they will in no wise enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

I'd like to add my 2 cents (without getting caught up in the melodramatic side of it):

in my relatively short time on here I have not once seen cnorman18 abuse his power - I haven't so much as seen him hand out an infraction. I've found him one of the more playful members of the staff and is willing to go along with a debate even if parties involved have blatantly broken debate rules. He has numerous times allowed the debate participants to try and keep things in line with regards to demands for evidence and kept his staff-side of it out as much as possible.

And it's not like me and him hold the same views - he's a theist and I am not.

But, if that is how you feel I can't tell you you're wrong.

I thought he was beig kind but Cnorman was right on.

You seem to be reverting to those patterns again.

Be careful. You will be called on them, and refusing to address those issues will no longer be tolerated.
Stick it in your ear, CNorman.

Try this on for size.

Is it like looking in a mirror Easyrider?
And you end with a one-liner.

I will only repeat what I said on the thread in question:

"So you find it easier to posture as one unjustly and unfairly harassed, throw around some unfounded and indefensible accusations, then strut out in high dudgeon (read: quit and run away) than to deal with on-point and accurate criticisms of your tactics.

"Imagine my surprise."
Don't let the door hit you, etc.

During my time here, I have gone from being an Atheist to a Buddhist. And during that time, from both perspectives, I have found Cnorman to be a very courteous, respectful and intelligent debater, not to mention extremely patient. While his and my religious beliefs do not agree, I put a great deal of stock in his words and I do not dismiss them without the serious consideration and respect that they deserve. I have actually learned several things about the Jewish people from his posts.

ER, if your intentions here were to win a battle, and you now feel that you have unfairly lost, then you were here for the wrong reasons in the first place.

Even though I am on sabbatical, I cannot refrain from commenting. Cnorman has been a tremendous asset to the forum since his arrival – and is one of the members I most highly respect. Easyrider occupied the opposite end of my respect continuum.

Any person who cannot acknowledge that his beliefs are not inherently superior to those of others and cannot understand that what he believes could be wrong is NOT debating or exchanging information, but is simply spouting dogma and propaganda.

It does not surprise me that ER would attempt a failed cheap shot as he left in disgrace.

The forum has improved by this development.

I think there is an interesting topic here for discussion and/or debate.
How do you respond to the true believer when they are not capable of responding in any other way then belief; any other way or response shows doubt and unbelief and even if they doubt and reason shows them they are wrong their souls feels in danger for seriously entertaining doubt about their beliefs. Why kind of desire is it to say help my unbelief if you believe you believe?
But if faith is taken as faithfulness then doubt would be natural.

I agree. CNorman has been a model and knowledgeable member of the forums and thoroughly deserving of his moderator status. I guess some people just can't handle being made to look bad.

I thought Easyrider had the holy spirit fruit of "long suffering". I guess I was wrong. Not a true Christian after all. :(

Society and its morals evolve and will continue to evolve. The bible however remains the same and just requires more and more apologetics and claims of "metaphors" and "symbolism" to justify it.

Prayer is like rubbing an old bottle and hoping that a genie will pop out and grant you three wishes.

There is much about this world that is mind boggling and impressive, but I see no need whatsoever to put it down to magical super powered beings.
