Search Engine Improvement

I would like to suggest an improvement in the search engine for this site. Although it has an advanced search function, it seems that the search function is not discriminatory enough. For example, if I type in the Search for Keywords: "lower self"--I don't see only the posts that show this phrase. Instead, I see a bunch of posts that don't show this phrase.

I've been playing around and I do believe the search is working, though perhaps not the way one would want. I did a search for "lower and self" and did get 414 posts in the results. The problem is that it does a partial word match, so it'll find "follower, itself, self-righteous". I'll see if I can find a phpbb mod to restrict it to whole word matches.

Instead of trying to modify the phpbb search functionality, I've decided to just provide a search form for Google instead. With this, you are now able to search for whole words.
