was Muhammad a farce?

Muhammad, the "great prophet" was the founder of the Islamic religion. But did he really practice what he preached? Was he authentic? For example, I know a guy who asked a Muslim, "what would you do to a man who had sex with a ten year old girl?" The Muslim replied "he should die!" Typical Muslim response to almost anything. Then this guy asks, "Then what about Muhammad? He had sex with a nine year old girl." So really, what about Muhammad? Did he not defy his very teachings on immorality? So, was he a fake?

You wrote...

"I know a guy who asked a Muslim...."

I'd like to see some of the data from that scientific study?

Was this 'Muslim' asked in the 7th century...or the 21st?

And of course you know Muhammad had sex with a nine year old don't you....

Braveheart,

the obvious is denied constantly these days. It suits so many to be moral relativists because then they think that way they can't be judged either. Meanwhile as bernee reminds me, 7th century lifestyles are being lived out in the 21st century.

As to your question I would argue that Mohammad did not violate his teachings on morality. I think he followed his moral code.

I don't think anyone should be copying it.

Um... is this sort of rampant stereotyping allowed? If it is, then I'll just make it apparent for anyone who missed it. Wow.

Should we call it a typical Christian reaction to almost anything related to Muslims?

You are caught out stereotyping just like Braveheart was.

 Hello-o! Sorry that I didn't say it was a rhetorical question. I normally try to avoid generalizations. What I did was just to expose the weakness of Braveheart's statement in a way, that if it is continued logically then it lead to a similar generalization about Christians, which we all of course want to avoid, right?
