David Icke and the Global Conspiracy

Post by mlcole8907 »

With so many free-thinkers on this site, I was wondering how you feel about David Icke and his ideologies.

This is an exsert taken from his book "The Global Conspiracy (And How To End It)

"The off-spring of these unions between humans and the and the repitlian race are known in there biblical texts as the Nefilim, or Nephilim, and these are the bloodlines in power all over the world today. The modern human race, or Homo Sapiens, emerged far quicker than conventional evolution would allow because there was wa genetic intervention by the advanced reptilian geneticists. The famed cosmologist, Dr. Carl Sagan, discussed humanity's reptilian origins in his book "The Dragons of Eden," and pointed out how the fossil record reveals a sudden and inexplicable leap in human brain-function that cannot be explained by the claims of Charles Darwin and his advocates that humans evolved from reptiles, but very slowly. Under the darwinist timescale it should have taken 200 million years for mammals to first appear, and another five to ten million for them to evolve into humans, Sagan says. Instead, it happened very quickly in what Sagan describes as a 'major burst of brain evolution.' Stone tools, for example did not develop slowly, but appeared 'in enormous abundance all at once.' The ancient Book of Enoch describes how the 'fallen angels' introduced this knowledge.
"And the angels taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them that the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. They taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, the resolving of enchantments, astrology, constellations, the knowledge of the clouds, the signs of the earth, the signs of the sun, and the course of the moon."

My question is this. Do you believe some of David Icke's thoughts on a reptilian race teaching the earliest humans all these techniques or do you believe that he is too left winged in his beliefs?

David Icke is not 'liberal' or 'conservative' , but off in the middle of no where. I don't think I have seen a thing he said that I would consider rational.
“What do you think science is? There is nothing magical about science. It is simply a systematic way for carefully and thoroughly observing nature and using consistent logic to evaluate results. So which part of that exactly do you disagree with? Do you disagree with being thorough? Using careful observation? Being systematic? Or using consistent logic?

I guess what I meant by "left winged" was actually bat shit crazy, haha! Seriously though, I enjoy reading about different points of views. I did buy his book, but unfortunately he lost me halfway because it got to a point where I just couldn't deal with it anymore. But he does have some interesting views, regardless if he's rational or not :)

Where do all these conspiracies come from?

Rational or not, true or not there was a time in this country when conspiracy theories were something hidden in the dusty attic of American history. Occasionally someone would stumble onto one, dust it off and mention it, but by and large nobody paid any mind to any of it.

The question at hand hasn't anything to do with orgins, but with the death of political innocence on Nov. 22, 1963. It's uncanny to say the least. Before Dallas, conspiracies were popular only in Agatha Cristie or Sherlock Holmes novels. After that Friday afternoon, it became a subject for every group small and large to consider.

After Jack died something called the credibility gap opened between the public and our government. Sometimes that maw is a mile wide and sometimes its narrow.

It seems to me, though, that the only group that still supports the government and believes its lies 110% is the church. No conspiracy there. IMO the faith of the church is misplaced. It's better to believe in the God of heaven than the lords of DC.
