Dianaiad stated that I could not find three atheists on this forum that did not believe there views were objective.
So the question for this debate. Atheists, do you believe your views are objective?

Post #31I agree with the philosophical explanation that nothing is free from some form of bias, if I understand your last post here.fredonly wrote:No one is truly objective, but it's something that is worth striving for - because it seems to provide the best approach to seeking absolute truth. We can try to reach toward objectivity by considering multiple sides to an argument, testing our ideas with those who have different poinst of view, giving serious consideration to opposing views, seeking common ground, and consistent means of evaluating ideas.JayDeist wrote:Dianaiad stated that I could not find three atheists on this forum that did not believe there views were objective.

Yet there is absolutely nothing object in believing in any religion because you are taking the untested words of others as a basis for that belieffaith is irrational because it merits a belief with absolutely no evidence, without evidence then all you have is a belief in that someone who is making those claims and which has nothing to do with the claims themselves, which someone is making. The Christian bible says you must believe by the way of faith, doctrine tells the religious they must believe through faith.faith is unsupported and has no evidence so all that remains IS bias.

I'm wary of anyone claiming that their views are purely objective. I don't think that's even attainable, by theists and atheists alike.

Answer: I understand, and I can find nothing in my previous post that claims this. Perhaps I should restate? No theism is objective, it is strictly subjective as there is absolutely no evidence to back the religious claim in anything.xSilverPhinx wrote:I'm wary of anyone claiming that their views are purely objective.
