Why live?

Post by alive »

Why would god have us do this stupid step? Why even be born? Just wake up in heaven.. We make no sense. A true god that most are wanting that created everything in the universe would not need living specks of like on a grain of sand in the universe...Why even make anything outside of heaven... I don't think believers have put a real effort on if there realy was a god what the heck would even bother with us...Would you?

For a second take god out of existance...There are countless ways life could of happen...Now add god back in and you were god... I have a universe with maybe 100's of millions of planets...My only thing Im worried about is getting humans to heaven?

I hope Im still alive when everyone wakes up..

I suspect that many religious and atheist thinkers often fall into the same trap of believing that the thoughts / nature of god can be imaged by humans in the first place.

Consider a good like virtue. If the ability to appreciate Heaven requires perfect virtue, then a person would need time to build up their virtue, because virtue is not something which can be given, but must be practiced and developed within the heart of oneself.

Kind of like the martial arts. In order to really get it, you need to be able to do the moves, you need to have spent the time disciplining your own body and mind to undergo the training; it's something you only really possess if you've earned it by the sweat of your brow.
For a truly religious man nothing is tragic.

Who or what are supposed to know the nature of god...Humans made up the word...Made up the myths...God is only for human consumption...Ants, flys, birds, bears , fish all could are less they are just trying to survive the moment.. The only trap is letting your mind be consumed by it..

Virtue.... Well if a god gives life why not virtue... Once again another meaningless step if the grand scheme is enternity in heaven..

More like a nano second if enternity in heaven is the goal...If god already knows once again why the step.

Virtue isn't something that can be given. God cannot give virtue, because it is such that it just can't be given. God can no more instantiate a square circle than He could give someone their virtue; a logical contradiction.
