Nation against nation, Ethnic group against ethnic group " Shite, Sunnis, and the other Muslims. We have states now who are petitions the white house to leave the united states.

Earth Quakes ( 6 or the 10 biggest have been recorded since Israel became a nation)
Famines and pestilence -- They say a lot of the fighting in the Muslim nations have been over food shortages. We are making fuel out of our food supply, we are watching our bread basket dry up and it's killing our food including cattle.
He told us Russia, Iran and a group of Muslim nation would attack Israel -- we see that getting closer not further away. China will be the biggest war and we see them becoming the super power.

Let me ask you this - How much longer do you believe the bible will be with us. With Atheist, Muslims, Hinduism, Buddhism, and so on how much longer do you see the bible surviving?

Somebody please help me here. I've forgotten the exact number, but since about 33 BCE, the 'last days' or 'end times' have been predicted every generation, or rather several times per generation. It never stops. No matter how many times the 'end of the world' as predicted by Christian apocalypse mongers has come and gone, they continue unabated. This may be the single dopiest and irrepressible WRONG 'prediction' in the history of the world.

Back in 1970 when I used to discuss this nonsense with students Hal Lindsey's The Late Great Planet Earth was all the rage among Evangelicals. Hal made a ton of money flinging the latest incarnation of this bull. His thesis was that since Israel became a country in 1948, the apocalypse would have to follow with in 40 years at the latest. The 1980's came and went and the only thing that has happened is a whole new batch of this silliness has been unleashed.

For 2000 years, every generation of Christians has cried, "These are the last days!" They have all been wrong. But now YOU are right?
And you wonder why people scoff? Scoffing at this nonsense is the only rational response. Or at least the only one permitted here in this forum under the rules.

Famines and pestilence -- They say a lot of the fighting in the Muslim nations have been over food shortages. We are making fuel out of our food supply, we are watching our bread basket dry up and it's killing our food including cattle.

Famine and pestilence are nothing new. Consider the black death. But they certainly will become more of a problem as the world's population grows.

These is nothing in scripture concerning Russia, Iran and the Muslim nations at all.

Let me ask you this - How much longer do you believe the bible will be with us. With Atheist, Muslims, Hinduism, Buddhism, and so on how much longer do you see the bible surviving?

My personal opinion is that the free exchange of ideas provided by modern technology will have largely relegated all religion to thing of the past throughout the world by the beginning of the next century. But then I have always been upbeat and optimistic.
